Marijuana and Canada?

Question

What are the current laws and prohibitions on marijuana in canada currently? like is it ok to smoke it in public? how much can you have at a time? or is it just illegal and not penalized very often? bcuz i still here about arrest being made over marijuana although Canabis Culture mag. is always praising marjuana use in canada and then they have articles that talk about arrest in canada over marijuana.

Americans have heard of medicinal legalization and think it means everyone can smoke it wherevere they please and as freely as they want

if your approach by a cop can you prove its for medicinal use ??

I agree with u r dumb. If you get charged with possession for personal use-then it's a slap on the wrist; if for trafficking purposes you're looking at more serious charges. US takes marijuanna charges much more seriously, I wouldn't want to get caught down there.

Im not sure about Canada but you better belive both the US and Canada are looking hard at legaliseing Marijuana.
Why because of all those tax dollars they can get,it used to be the same for wiskey ,beer etc so the goverment took it over.

i'm pretty sure it is a fine and not a charge for possesing a half ounce or less. I wouldn't smoke in public and keep it fairly on the down low. good luck.
