It is some spiritual energy certainly, however it is so weak!
I actually did get attuned to be Reiki level III (Master level, I don't like the title though) and I knew another energy system even before that which I could use. Reiki is very difficult for me to work with because it doesn't have a lot of power behind it and it goes where it wants to. The system I am more experienced with you can control the flow and force of it, how you use it, and where you send it. It is not perfect (nothing is) but it is so much better than Reiki.
However, if you can actually do any sort of energy work you can quickly tell if it is from a positive or negative source. Negative sources tend to make you feel nauseated while working with them, positive ones don't.

I know some think it is from satan. I believe what ever you do if it is for good and you do it in the name of Jesus, it is from the Father Almighty. Some have the gift of healing. God Bless!
