My face care routine doesn't do anything for my skin, if anything makes my skin worse so im looking for some products that i can use to prevent spots and make my skin glow. Does anyone know of a good skin care range to use, price doesn't matter too much within reason and im only looking to buy a few products and i live in the UK. I'm 15 and have combination skin just for extra info if you need it, thankyou so much =]

I live in America, but hopefully the UK has clinique too, or you can buy it online. I love Clinique's face wash, it really keeps me from breaking out. They have 3 formulas depending on your skin. Also get a good cleanser to remove makeup (my favorites are clinique's foam cleanser and Neutrogena fresh foaming cleanser). Finally get a good moisturizer that is rich enough to keep your skin soft and not tight, and will not break you out (my favorite brand for this is Aveeno). If you're having trouble with breakouts get a gel formula of benzyol peroxide, or ask your doctor about a clindamycin - benxzoyl peroxide gel for your face (and put this on a clean face @ night).

Hope that helps, good luck!

Hi I know what you mean, I people say its because you are in your teens but it isnt trust me your stuck with it.

The best thing for my skin is if I dont touch it with anything, and just wash with water but I like to pamper my skin and I find that the more I used the worse it gets.

It really isnt worth paying on on expensive products as they dont work, My mum spent 45 pound on the clinique 3 step range for me for my birthday and all it did was make my skin worse. even though everything is fragrance free and dermatogically tested it makes no difference.

The best thing to do is to use a sensitive face mask once a week and to steam your face with a facial sauna once or twice a week and you will notice your spots start to clear and skin look healthier. They are not as expensive now the faical saunas there about 5 quid in some places and they all work the same.

As long as you have a moisturisers that works for you them you will be fine. I use a fragrance free moisturiser form wilkinsons as every other one brings my skin out or makes it greasy. Im thinking of trying a mattifying one from superdrug its there own clarity make and is 3 pound which isnt to bad, I paid 6 pound for one a boots N07 and it made my skin worse. So Im looking for something to get rid of the oil and clear my skin right up, without irritaiting it.

Good skin comes from within - its more to do with what you eat. Keep your face clean and don't touch it more than you need to. Use a nice gentle range such as simple and just keep it scrupulously clean. A light moisturiser will do it good too and always wear sunscreen, even in the winter sun.
