Yes. However, it must be said that we must put EVERYONE that calls themselves a prophet to the test. Otherwise, we WILL be led astray. There are several tests for a prophet:
1. Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Did they speak the truth according to the Bible or their personal interpretation?
2. Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Do they live Godly lives?
3. Jeremiah 28:9 The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.
Has their prophecies come to pass?
4. 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Do they believe that JESUS has come in the flesh?
There are probably more scriptures that can point to a true prophet. However, ALL of these things MUST be evidenced in order to be a true prophet of GOD!!!
GOD bless

Every single person who has the Holy Spirit within them is a prophet nowadays.
It used to be that the Holy Spirit came and went to only a select few who were to be servants unto the Lord.
But because of Jesus sacrifice each and every one of us are able to receive the Holy Spirit and minister to others and do the Lords work.
We're also God's disciples if we have the Holy Spirit.
Did you know that when Abram and Sarai's names were changed and given the 'H' that the 'H' stood for the Holy Spirit?
Because that's when God gave both of them the Holy Spirit and changed their names to illustrate it.
But if your a Christian and you have the power of the Holy Spirit living within you then your a prophet and a disciple of the God most high.
And as for revealing His secrets, God is always willing to give us wisdom and guidance and knowledge each and every time we seek it with all our hearts.
But if you really want wisdom then I suggest reading Proverbs in the Holy Bible.
God bless you Israel and have a blessed day!

The closer a saint gets to God, know His Word, Prays, BELIEVES God, ....the more God can use the saint to speak to His people . Many things are being revealed in THIS time ( era ). For those that have an ear, " Hear what the Spirit is saying to the church " !

You are not talking here about prophecy, you are talking about revelation. Revelation is God revealing His message to man, prophecy is man proclaiming God's truth to men. Now, Revelation has ended, at the completion of the Bible, but prophecy still continues. There are some denominations like Pentecostalism that claim revelation still exists, but there is no teaching to that effect in the Bible.
