Did you forget that GOD Is Sovereign? Sovereignty: This is “the attribute by which He rules His entire creation.” It is the application of His other attributes of being all-knowing and all-powerful. It makes Him absolutely free to do what He knows to be best. God is in control of everything that happens. Man still has a free will, and is responsible for his choices in life. Amos 3 (Amplified Bible) 7Surely the Lord God will do nothing [a]without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets. Psalm 115 (Amplified Bible) 3But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.

Yes he still does for us individually. We just have to open up our eyes to see God at work.

As for the secrets in Daniel I believe he is at work revealing secrets to the men and woman that are in politics or religion to show us today.

Even the best answers I've seen to life's questions are not picked as best to by the asker or by the voters.. But the truth to many of life's answers are already here. Believe it or not.

Yes he does. We are not always understanding of the secrets. We are not always open in our hearts to hear the secrets. That does not mean that we do not love God. There are times that we miss the message. Do to a lack of knowledge. Only God has all the knowledge, we are always learning..

He has certainly revealed some secrets to me over the last few years. I'm over 50 and have been well-educated in the Bible my entire life. But, it is not until the last few years that I have really been shown something new in the Bible which I've never seen before. God's Word is His Revelation to us. Study it. He will reveal things to you in His Word, too.

Yes. Later in Daniel 12:10b, when referring to the prophecies of the last days:

"...none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand".

You also have to look at verse 11. Daniel claimed for God a capacity to reveal which the pagan wise men could not claim for their gods.
