Italy have never won in Scotland, although a draw is enough for them(and us so long as Ukraine do the damage to France in Kiev)

Wow im quite amazed that all who answered believe in us as do i but not one negative answer, The moonlad yeah haha i think meta might be an snp commonwealth official or something heh heh. I'ts unreal that if we were in any other group we'd have more than likely qualified by now, 24 pts still not there, but any one whose country was drawn in this group would have bitten your arm off if offered them 1 home game v anyone to go through. COME ON SCOTLAND (NO MORE GLORIOUS FAILURES)Come on the UKRAINE i think they will beat France(fingers crossed) Thanks to all who answered cheers (I'm an Angel get me out of here - im from the Gorbals (you were close)small world eh? x

on the head my son Scotland will do them no fear all the way my dad was brought up in the gorballs i think that's how you spell it, last time i was up there 1974, my granny lived in the high rise flats, just before hamden park bridge!
the good old days! never seen people party how they do, when we used to go to get a train to go home Glaswegians would stop us in the street and say "cheerio, hope you had a good stay" i have never seen anything like it before, brilliant.

It's a possibility if the Scots can shake the chip of their shoulder and rise above the noble history of being glorious in defeat.
Personall, I think that Scotland will only begin to excel at Soccer and Rugby after full independance has been acheived and we are a Nation once again.
All power to the clever and resourcefull Mr Salmond in convincing the good people of Scotland that it's possible.

Why not.
I'm pretty sure they have the talent to do so if they can get it all together.
The Scots are a tenacious breed and never give up without a fight. This is shown in everything they do.
They could be 3 goals down with only 5 minutes left, but they still would not give up.
BTW, I am not a Scot, I am one of them thar Sassenachs

I'm one who truly believes Scotland can beat Italy next Saturday. So much so I'm even putting a few 'bob' on to back my belief. Of course, I'm banking on it being the Scottish team that beat Lithuania, France and Ukraine....if it's the one that surrendered so meekly to Georgia, I'm afraid I've seen the last of my 'few bob'!

If Italy play a strong team with the likes of Gilardino, Luca Toni and Pirlo in it it could be very hard but Italians don't like physical hard tackling football like Scotland play so you never know.

I believe that we have as good a chance of winning as the Italians do . We have to treat this game as our World Cup Final ,go out there and believe in ourselves and ,I believe that we can and will get the desired result .
