that depends upon a lot of things but I would probably say yes, because she is paying you out of her pay. If she is getting $7 and hour and paying you $3.50 she is also working for $3.50 and hour. she may be doing this just so that you have some time together, to give you a little spending money, or to let you learn the value of working for money, all good reasons. Unless you can get a job paying more elsewhere, I would do it.

Do you have a good relationship with your mom? If so, then good for you! Maybe she is trying to find a way to help you earn money and she didn't expect to get paid when she raised you.
Try using the judgement of an adult here. I don't have a good relationship with my stepmom, in fact we cannot stand each other so I wouldn't.
If your on good terms with your mom and you can do this without negatively impacting your relationship, then go for it.
