having to change litter trays a lot more than normal.....he seems great in himself and has no ill health or any strange changes or habits .

HI LouLou...Bengal cats (even neutered) tend to have stronger urine odours because of their close blood relationship with an Asian Leopard Cat.

Additionally, if your Bengal isn't drinking enough water this will make the urine more concentrated and strong. Sometimes by adding canned food to their diet it will increase their moisture intake to help dilute the urine odours. This will help decrease the urine pH balance and increase the urine acidity to maintain healthy urinary tract health. Much like cranberry juice works for us...increases acidity to minimize bacteria growth.

Sounds like an infection - a quick visit to vet is a good idea, before it gets worse.

well i have found that if you give them the cat grass more that strong smell will all but go away now as for your cat im not sure but at least it's worth a try

Your cat is not drinking enough water.... you might want to change his food too to a diet with less alcoline...
