They project their own crap onto others... it's more funny than annoying, really.

That is what I call the club mentality.
Most all christians have it. Their belief foundations are impervious to a thought process that other people of other beliefs could actually give a flip about getting together to discuss their non-belief.
Unlike christians, I have no need to meet with like minded individuals on a pre-arranged basis to talk about, plan or otherwise solidify my thought processes and decision making.
It doesn't make me mad or annoy me.
I take some comfort in their ignorance.

I don't need to read Richard Dawkins book but you do. It will give you another perspective on your religion and your faith and how and why you find yourself believing some of the extraordinary things you do.

Not really, I'd rather read something by a real person with real knowledge than allot of unknown authors, translators with no credentials or sound judgment.
Nor do I need someone telling me how to live.

I've never had anyone say that to me. I haven't read Dawkins book and have no interest in doing so.

Well, they can't seem to imagine anyone going through life thinking for themselves rather than being told what to think, feel, and believe.
