DO you think someone can be gay but still love god very much, and is very religious??

I do believe that someone can be gay and love God. It's just like saying that someone has a drinking problems, but yes they love God. Some people make the wrong decisions in life but that doesn't mean they don't love God. They do need to be in the word more and be willing to change their lives the way God wants their life to be. Some people are often confused and take their on paths in life instead of having God direct their paths, but some people are just not willing to change for God and that is what holds them back from the many blessings God has for them. Yes, I believe they can love God, but if they TRULY love God, they will OBEY Him. Jesus said, "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."
Jesus warns us continually about Hell, and how to escape it. If someone loves God, then they will want to leave their sinful lifestyle, and FOLLOW HIM. I'm not just talking about Homosexuals. I'm talking about ANY sinful lifestyle. And Yes, homosexuality is sinful. The Bible is very clear on that. So, if what you are wanting to know is "can you PRACTICE HOMOSEXUALITY and go to Heaven," the answer is NO. It is a sin and an abomination to God, and unless one repents of it, they will not enter the kingdom of heaven. God Bless

I'm firmly of the opinion that if there IS a God and he makes people as he sees fit...that perhaps he's testing Christians to be more tolerant of "love" via homosexuality.

If someone is gay and recognizes that maybe God wants something better for them praise God. God is patient and will direct those who love him into a better lifestyle.

Absolutely. God loves all of his children. God separates the deed from the doer. Everyone does things that are not necessarily in harmony with the will of God. Yet, God loves us all the same. He has sent his Beloved Son Jesus Christ to atone for our shortcomings.

well we are all sinners in gods eyes none is righteous but some would argue that life style will perpetuate punishment for sin, but on the same note there are many heterosexuals in unfaithful marriages or have sex befor marriage is sin so no one can judge a gay person for being gay or thy shall be judged by god

why would you want to be religious when it is the religion and not god that persecutes you? live life normal for you. god loves you like you are.

I do personally. I know that god says it was Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve, but we are all sinners. Not one person on this earth has been totally obedient with our father God, so why try to tell the gays that they are in the wrong to practice homosexuality?

But they'd have to understand that God loves them back..but is not okay with the lifestyle they chose.
