Eat? or Act?
I like Ed Debevics (sp?). the waitress have attidude and the whole meal is fun.
Magicians and Acrobats aren't that prevalent in Chicago. Perhaps Midieval Times or check out Navy Pier for street performers.

Shaw's Crabs -- okay they don't have magicians or acrobats, but the waiters are great, it's a fun crowd
I'm from the deep south, don't get to Chicago often, but I've never eaten anywhere there that wasn't fun -- great city, great people, one of my fav places to visit

Just go to Chicago entertainment, and see what you come up with. The chamber of commerce should have a bunch of stuff, and maps.

Gino's West...best deep-dish Chicago-style pizza, period. If you like seeing musicians, House of Blues is pretty good.

Your question is somewhat vague! There must be some eateries providing such entertainment to attract patrons, especially youngsters!
