Thou shalt not kill.
Why would anyone who believes in the God that said that think He would be okay with it?

war has been since who knows, God tells us in the end times there will be wars and rumors of wars so obviously there is a plan for wars All of you bnon believers suddenly get religious and say god can't be happy with this war. Because God is for life' but what about all the babies being killed in the womb in such a horrendous way. Why arn't you protecting the very sanctity of life. Stop using this as an excuse to hate Bush. President Bush did what clinton only talked about.
After 9-11 if President Bush did nothing what would have'd been said then the same kind of garbage I am hearing now. What you all can't stand is that he actually took action. When clinton did nothing.
If there wasn't a civil war where yes men and women and children were killed or a world war 1 where yes men and women and children were killed and world war 2 where yes men and women and children were killed and all the wars since, you all would not have the freedoms you have today.
Alot of those men and women gladlty gave there lives so we could keep our freedoms
And so I want to thank all of those men and women who have sacrificed there lives, there familys, there time, so that I can go to work and enjoy my family and have all the freedoms that we would not have without there sacrifices.
Past and present
Instead of complaining why don't you all just say thank you.
All the sacrifices these men and women are making today to keep us safe from another 9-11. How discouraging it must be to be there giving your time and all the sacrifices for such an unthankful country. You might not agree with the war that's fine but get off of the soapboxes of God can't be happy with this war because God is for life. When we are killing all these innocent babies. And for the science people when I was pregnant with all 3 of my children I don't remember saying to my family, we're having a fetus. I believe I said we're having a baby.
I am so sick of all of this.
Just my own oppinons

I would rather think that God does not approve of any war. The only war justified by God is a Godly War ordained as a consequence of disobedience or unbelief. In those cases the ends do justify the means but according to God's Will and not mans.

God is at war with evil every day. God uses common people like you and me and the other side chooses to rebel against God. So warfare is always going on, It is the good against evil.
And lots of time the spiritual warfare appears on this earth. When bad people do not respect the rights of other people. I believe the terrorists are the bad people in Iraq that the Americans and other countries are fighting against over there. when the terrorists have no more power over there there will be no reason for war.

God does not like war. God wants us to address the serious problems of this world, to a much greater degree, so that we do not have to get to the point, where war becomes hard to avoid. God want us to talk, more and fight less. God wants us to inspire change, not force change. God wants us to be open, to the best in spiritual ideas, from every source. God want us to learn, about other peoples and cultures, so we understand where they are coming from, and how to work with them. God wants us to try to be, the best moral example we can be, as a country, and as a people.

Personally, I don't believe that God does exist, which rather invalidates my opinion, because any god that I could believe in would feel the pain of all his creation every time one of them was set in hate and violence against another. But that'd just be my version of the ultimate deity. The Old Testament god seemed quite content to mix it in the wars of human beings in favour of his 'chosen people'. War is an invention of human beings as far as I know, because only we lack the focus to see that we're all ultimately the same, with the same drives and desires and motivations - and it's that ignorance that allows us to kill each other on a massive scale. However, I'm sure George Bush's god, and Halliburton's god - the god of "In God We Trust", or Ker-Ching! to give him his proper name, is fully behind the war in Iraq.

Why would any religious person go to war for a purpose that is not religious? Do you think that the Iraq war is a religious war?

No.
The books of all three main religions state quite clearly that all borders should be honoured by all believers.
They all state that you should defend your religion and your family and your country.
So all the main religions are clear that the war in Iraq is in violation of Gods law.
According to these religous beliefs God must be on the side of the Iraq`s and if that is so and if god does truely exist, then America and allies, will get a major comeupance from God.
God only talks war to defend, no to steal.
We await to see the outcome...!!

No war is okay with God. But He has left some things for Mankind to accomplish by itself. Learning to be a new order of being is going to be more painful than this.

God created everything, but He does not create the actions that humans take. Instead, He warns over and over again, and then He punishes.
God cannot feel emotions because He is not physical -- also, emotions are reactions to events. He does not have reactions because He already knows the outcome. All He can really do is sit back, watch, and accept people's prayers.
Anyone who takes someone's life away is playing God. Whether it is suicide, murder, or all out war. So, does war meet the guidelines of the Bible? Absolutely not.

War and Religion were created by men. Doesn't mean there is not a GOD, but Religion is man-made.
