Can he pass a drug test? If not, why are you dating this loser?

Good luck. Any "local" businesses are probably your best bet. Any of the national corporate chains like McDonalds may not initially require a drug test, but can test at any time if they choose to. They won't do that UNLESS they believe somebody is using drugs AT work, or that their performance is being affected by drug use. Almost all corporate chains have a similar policy as far as that goes. I worked for Starbucks for 4 years and was never once tested, but I also never gave them a reason to.

A drug user doesn't really care about working other than to support his habit. You must not be old enough to support the two of you.He needs to quit the drugs and get a decent job. I think even McDonalds is drug testing now.

Lets say he find a work place that doesn't do drug test. Then what? He'll still be doing drugs, and, one of these days he'll get fired for getting caught using drugs and/or messing up at work because of influence of drugs. So, tell him to stop using drugs. I hope you don't do drugs.

We live in California, so things are a little different. But for the most part, out here, you can test positive for THC and still get the job for some taxi companies and some tire / mechanic shops.

He'll have to find a job working for a Mom and Pop business or consider a career in the military and go to Iraq.

The wise thing to do would be quit doing drugs.

As someone else mentioned, restaurants and fast food places generally don't test.

I have a friend who's a major burner, and he works at Home Depot, so clearly they don't test.

The good jobs need to go to the people who don't mess up their minds, bodies, and spirits with drugs. You might suggest your boyfriend consider getting high on life instead of dope.

Fast food, landscaping, house painting, construction, actually there are a lot of jobs that don't test when others would. Have him ask the places that are hiring.

a) not date a dimwitt who is doing drugs
