Well it depends on the District Attorney, your attorney, and most of all the judge presiding over the case.
Personally even in the drive way, you are on a public highway and if you do not have a license to operate a motor vehicle, then why were you behind the wheel?
Now if you had a learners permit (issued to people 16 and older) you may drive but under DIRECT supervision of a MATURE and licensed operator.
Well the only advice I have for you now is get an attorney they will sort this out. But be prepared, it will cost some money.

At best, if you're a good kid with a clean record and no history of getting into trouble, then it's possible you could get off with a warning or just a citation and a fine. If you're not quite that innocent it could possibly be as bad as getting your license revoked until you are 18. There's also the matter of you actually being in posession of the vehicle, if you did not have permission from your parents then you can be charged with grand theft auto. If they did for some insane reason give you permission to break the law and risk your own life and lives of others, then your parents can be charged with wrongful entrustment, which when in consideration of a vehicle and a minor can be a felony. You may have opened up a fairly large can of worms for yourself.

it all depends on the judge AND the history of the offending person. technically driving without a license is a misdemeanor. those are punishable by UP TO 1 year in jail. but honestly noone goes to jail for 11 months 29 jails (solely) for driving without a license. someone mentioned as long as you were on private property you should be okay. thats not entirely true. you merely have to be in control of the vehicle even if its not moving. that can be sitting in your driveway with the car running. i've given quite a few DUI's and driving on suspended license citations to drivers that were on private property.

well...if it was your first offense, nothing major will happen...i am not sure what because every state is different.....
but i cant help wondering....why would you do something as dumb as driving without a license number one.....and number 2....your only 15 years old!!!.......there's a reason you can only drive with a license, it is to make sure you have enough training and qualifications to be a safe driver!!!!
i think everybody driving without a license should be charged with attempted murder....because..thats exactly what it is!!!!!..im not saying thats right, but it's how i feel....a car can be as much of a weapon as a gun when not used properly.............

I think we need a little more detail on this. Where you out driving on the street and made it to your driveway before he pulled you over, or were you only operating the vehicle on your private property?

If you never left your own property you should be OK...they will give you some grief, but you won't die...:-)
IF you were on a public roadway it's a different ballgame -
but you are a minor and that buys you a little protection.
Seek legal counsel.
