im going to buy the psp slim so i want to buy the componet cable for psp so i can play games on tv but my tv is not hd

the only problem is s video cables dont allow for game playback. yuou dont need an hdtv to play games, you need a tv that at least supports 480p

the cable that incorporates the container has a turn on it, one place of the change says hd one says some thing else i think of analog or some thing yet you employ this turn on the cable to tell the 360 in case your using an hd television or not

Yes, standard def televisions sometimes have component inputs, but usually only the higher-end units. My 2 standard def televisions only go up to SVideo.

You would be better off using SVideo cables. It is cheaper, lighter and gives you most of the advantage of using Component.
