Sadam probably was quite at peace with his life, so might Hitler have been; one might even assume that these two examples might have thought the entire world would be better off under their control.
If you can see the possibility of truth in that statement, then you may also be able to see that peace throughout the world under the rule of humans is truly impossible.
Just something to think about.

Evil lurks everywhere. It doesn't matter what happens, evil is everywhere, so 100% peace can never be achieved. Think about it, there has been arguments and violence since the beginning of time. If you believe in what the Bible says: Cain and Able. Cain killed Able and they and their parents were the first inhabitants of the earth. If you believe in Evolution and science: The food chain. It's a fight and struggle to get to the top.

As a species we are capable of conquering
everything but one, ourselves, for to do so
would mean we must finnaly consider our
only option left, to develope the capacity to
learn to utilize what we accomplish . . .
in other words we must stop seeing peace
in the world as a sign of weakness in our
selves, and realize we shall ironicaly never
be at peice with the world untill we are at
peice with our selves, thus starving the war
mongers out of there daily bread . . .
We're always at odds with ourselves, we
obtain our goals and right away we're on
to something else because we are told we
must keep moving ahead at all cost,or die.
We use life as a steping stone in stead of
a pathway, i'm truly convinced though it
took some doing and a lot of accepting,
that sadly we as a species are genictialy
programed to view life as one would view
a competitive sport, in that we are inately
meant to obessively always try and out do
each other at all cost, we are insideously
engrained with this philosopy in our every
day life and yet in such denial of it . . .
we know how to be sucsessful and yet
ironicaly we merely don't know how to
appreciate our sucess once we have
obtained it . . .
Simply and sadly put, and with all due
respect, i doubt we would know how to
handle a peaceful world, after all what
would we do if weren't Bi***ing at each
other constantly? . . .
War is revenue to those who we put in
power, think of it, we empower every one
else but our selves, and when we do get
that power though our little sucesses, we
become like those who we resented in the
first place, thus taking it out on each other.

We need to have a mutual spirit of love and peace, and practice it. However, there is evil i nthe world and that prevents such from happening.
