im 14 and 132lbs. i want to get as close to 115lbs as i can by december. yesterday i made a 1 week diet plan, and if i do this for 4 weeks will i lose close to 17lbs?

● Monday - Friday
• Breakfast - 1 piece of toast w/ little butter. 8oz glass of milk
• Lunch - ½ salami sandwich, juice box, 100 calorie snack pack
• After School Snack - slimfast drink [240 calories, i believe]
• Dinner - the other ½ of my salami sandwich, a banana, 8oz glass of milk

● Saturday and Sunday
• Breakfast - 1 egg scrambled w/ low-fat cheese, 1 toast with little butter
• Snack - 100 calorie snack
• Lunch - [whole] salami sandwich. 8oz milk. banana
• Dinner - a limited amount of whatever my mom makes for dinner
• Snack - slimfast drink

i didnt mean to leave water out of it. water isnt a problem with me, i drink alot of it. i dont like vegetables either =/

and i cant exercise because i have mono, and you cant be very active with mono

Your plan sounds OK to me. I'm also fourteen years old, and am learning a lot about good weight loss plans in my health class. Although you have mono, you really should try to exercise a little, even if it's only thirty minutes of walking a day with resting time every ten minutes. Make sure you drink about eight glasses of water and three glasses of low fat or fat free milk daily. Also, try to do your best without going overboard. The results of eating disorders are disgusting and dangerous, so be careful. But I definitely think you will be able to reach your goal. Good luck!

I'm not an expert on diets so I won't act like I am. All I have to asy is there isn't enough vegetables in your diet. Also, you should go with whole wheat bread instead of white. How about adding a salad to your lunch and dinner? Just don't add a bunch of croutons, bacon bits, or cheese to it and don't smother it with dressing. By adding a salad of lettuce (spinach is a good choice, iceberg isn't), tomatoes, cucumbers, etc you will get more veggies/nutrients and will feel fuller longer and just a small amount of calories is added.

And for your snacks, try fresh fruit, veggies, or nuts instead of the snack pack. They are more nutritious and your 100 calorie snack or slimfast is processed, sugary, and probably contains at least some trans fat. Instead of basing your diet strictly on calories, be concerned with the amount of each food you are getting. Make sure you get your protein, fiber from whole wheat, veggies and fruits, and dairy everyday. AND DRINK LOTS OF WATER!

You didn't mention anything about exercise. You need to start moving! Walk, run, swim, bike, tennis, basketball, etc. Anything that gets your heart rate up for at least 30 minutes or more (every day). Your calorie intake should be around 1200 per day. Watch serving sizes and portion sizes. Salami is very high in fat, you might want to switch to turkey and use 2% or skim milk instead of whole milk. 1-2 pounds per week is considered a safe and obtainable goal.

You're missing out on other nutrients your body needs, such as those that come from fruits and vegetables. Plus water isn't included in your plan, and water helps keep you feeling full for a while and has no calories. You're going on the right track you just need to make small changes. I lost 14 kgs in 2 months just by eating 3 times a day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

in one of the recent questions you answered, you said you weigh 115 pounds, but in this question you stated that you WANT to weigh 115 pounds and REALLY weigh 132. i think if you want our answers you should be more truthful.
