putting video from utube onto powerpoint demo?

Hi, how do i go about putting a video from utube onto a powerpoint presentation? I want to put a clip of a rocket launch to show to the kids on a space lesson i am givving. I cant simpy hyperlink to the site as i think utube site is blocked by the school server! lol So how can i do this???? thanks

at home copy the url of the youtube video, paste it in the url bit at the top of this page http://vixy.net/
then, from the drop down menu, select the file format (i'd stick with the avi option) and click start. once downloaded, you can then import this video into your ppp

If you want to change the video format to fit the ppt and make it smaller, you can try a video converter.

I think that if you use the saveflash and save the video you search it and the you put it in the powerpoint

you cant put it on from youtube unless you can put it on a cd or save it to your u drive.

teachers have youtube unblocked on their login for learning proposes so ask if they can login on their file so you can show the class.
