I have a Christmas wish list for a five year old girl that I got from my church, and the list asks for pajamas but it does not have a size. What is the average clothing size for a 5 year old girl?

My daughter was tall but slim. She wore a size 5. But incase the girl is a little bigger I would go with a 6. A little extra room wouldn't hurt anything.

that is the norm 5-6 but what if she is heavy or very thin, what a disappointment to get new pj's and not be able to wear them, talk to the person who is running the program at the church and find out to be safe, it is so kind of you to do, but i would hate for her to be sad on Christmas, maybe they could tell you a little about her so you could get her pj's that have a char-actor she loves on them, go the extra mile it will be so appreciated

Definitely go one size bigger like a 6 or 6X.
