He looks sort of like a Koovas mix, but he is not a husky as he is way too big. What other dogs have a blue eye brown eye combo that he could be part of. I suspect he is part lab or Koovas and part?

All dogs with blue eyes have a dilution gene. The most common blue eyed dogs I see are merles. You could check the AKC's website and see what breeds can be merles. They have pictures.

If you really want to know your dog's breed, there are genetic testing companies that can find that out.

I have an Australian shepherd and he has one solid blue eye and the other eye is half blue half brown. He has good vision in both eyes also. It isn't always the case that they will be blind in the blue eye. What does he look like? How big is he?

I'm not sure what Koovas is, but I know Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dogs have one brown one blue.

Kuvas do not have odd colored eyes. Huskys do, so it would seem more likely that it is part Husky.
