It sounds like you need to get her a sitter a couple of times a month so you can decompress. You two spend a lot of time together, and sometimes it is good to have a little vacation away from each other. If you have a trusted family member/friend you could even have them take her to the movies or the zoo etc. She will come home happy to experience something new and exciting and probably a lot less angst filled. My mom takes my son for the day once a week or so and it is awesome. I love spending time with my son, but I also love having a stress free day to myself so my husband and I can go out on a date or relax.

There is a very successful system I know of called "1,2,3, Magic" that is great for getting the behaviors of any child under control with wonderful success. I don't recall who devised the system, but I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to Google around and find out, and there should be a copy at the local library. With this system, you will be able to get those tantrums under control with ease. You might also want to check in on the possibility of a daycare setting which can also help with this sort of thing. Hang in there MOM! Nobody said it would be easy!

i exploit a stroller for my virtually 3 twelve months previous as quickly as we are out for a protracted time and he gets drained, or if he's asleep as quickly as we get someplace. I see a lot of unfavourable comments on yahoo solutions approximately older infants & lazy mothers and dads with strollers. sure, there are mothers and dads who strap their 4 twelve months olds into strollers all day daily. You, on the different hand, sound such as you have an lively day, an lively infant and you're rather fortunate that he places up with grocery procuring! save on.

It sounds like you need a mothers helper. It's not easy working from home and watching a toddler- I know, I did it with my youngest and it is very easy to lose your temper.
You need to keep her entertained with activities and exercise. Don't let TV be your babysitter. Perhaps she should participate in some dance classes or toddler gymnastics to get out her energy if you cannot afford to hire in help.

I feel for you! I have a 2.5 year old too. She is VERY stong willed. One thing that has helped up is cutting out food colors. We found she is sentitve to them. She is still a stong willed 2 yo but is not as aggresive and mean as before. Good luck!

they don't call them the terrible twos for NOTHING
so what do you do at your house for discipline
or do you read Dr Spock - who could not even raise his own kid 'by the book'
may try Dr James Dobson - the strong willed child
book and workbook - here is a great site to find the cheapest price
all the best
PS my grandaughter is 3.5 - and she is much better
she is learning - and she knows she can;t press Papa's buttons

talk to her and make her understand that you have to work...
you might consider giving her something to do while you we're doing something in the web or doing household...
give her a coloring book or a sketch pad and crayons....
let her watch her fav. cartoon or educational programs...
educational blocks and puzzles for her to be occupied while doing you work...
make sure that you're also checking what she's doing and never forget to praise her work...or if she's watching attentively...
hope that will help you...
Good Luck!
