Long answer:

The answer would depend on how you can define life. What is it? A bacteria is considered alive but a virus is not simply because a virus cannot reproduce by its own DNA. Does a castrated bull then loose its status as alive for it too can no longer reproduce by its own DNA lacking the equipment for such a joining.

Short Answer:
Possibly pain. Most definately fear of some description, followed by acceptance.

i think you might want to rephrase between death and life? personally i believe that we just keep reliving our same lives over and over again until we someone break free of the cycle. what i mean is, alright it's possible that their have been millions perhaps trillions of big bangs right? the universe expands and then retracts and then another big bang. what if once the universe collides together time no longer exists, and hence starts over from scratch. like our lives, this planet, the universe just keeps playing out the same thing over and over again kind of like reincarnation but you are you every time, you die and then you're born again but you're not someone else, but your same old self just reborn.

death after all doesn't really mean anything to me, it's just transferring matter into energy and then energy back into matter.

It is all about what you do here on earth in positive ways that you can carry on to death.In death there is life according to how you have lived your life.I use to not really belive in anything until one day I quit breathing and expirenced what I call the happy after life and if I get to feel that good for eternity, sign me up that is what I want.

Heaven or Hell, the Bible says that if you are a believer then absent from the body is present with the Lord. Jesus Christ came and died on a cross at calvery to wash away our sins. There is a reason today that when you see a Cross it has a spiritual meaning to it, everytime I see a cross it reminds me of Jesus. In the book of Hebrews 10:16 it says that Jesus wrote it in our hearts and minds to know him. When we ignore it we just hurt ourselves. When we know something is true we need to act on it. We never know if we will be here tomorrow. Today is the day of Salvation. We are all sinners, the Bible says For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God, if we die without our sins forgiven then its hell and an eternity with satan for us. Personally I am not going there, if you would like to be saved and born again and spend your eternity with Jesus then just pray this sinners prayer of Faith and Jesus will come into your heart and save you, his gift of Salvation is free, to all who will believe, the choice is up to you, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life.
