It's not a talisman, but the only thing we, as humans, can do against evil is use the Word of God.
Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

You can't really keep evil people away with a talisman. Evil spirits maybe. But I'd strongly suggest mace. Or a stun gun. They're both pretty effective.

All kidding aside, there are plenty of talismans...I do not know which ones, but I'm sure that even something like a stone would work, if it had the proper things done...hope this helps! ^_^
