you'll have to let your pets see the vet, and he'll tell and recommend what's best to get rid of the fleas.

Palmolive dish soap is also a very gentle flea soap, you can use it on pups as young as 8 weeks. Get them wet in the sink (not full, just running water). Lather the soap up on your hands, and then work into the fur. Let it sit for 5 mins, then rinse. The suds should smother any fleas. Make sure you rinse well, and pull off any dead fleas as you go.

You have to also flea bomb the house at the same time or they'll just jump right back on. The cat should be getting Frontline or Advantage.

Treat the house first. Board the pets for a night and stay with a relative and bomb the place. Or have someone come and spray to get rid of them. While you are boarding the pets, have them treated also. The cat is old enough for a flea dip, the groomer should know how to treat the puppies. If you're not sure, call a vet and see what he recommends.

This was the only way we could get rid of our fleas.

Are you sure it's fleas? Around here, the allergies have been much worse this year...and when Benadryl wasn't enough, the doc changed his flea/tick medicine to Revolution, since it might be mites...I still have a few more days before I will notice less scratching and itching to see if it's mites or if it's his allergies and he needs something stronger, like a cortizone shot...

Give the capstar to the mom and it will pass through her milk....let the pups nurse her and bam..no more fleas..you might try it for a few days, the capstar is very clean and is completely out of the body within 24 hours almost..it leaves nearly no residue..and begins killing all fleas within one hour of ingestion. It will kill them on the puppies to if they nurse her.

Good Luck

Then get some Frontline or Revolution from the vet, for all of your animals. These spot-ons can be used from 8 weeks of age.

You need to treat all your animals, and it must be with a treatment from a vets because pet store products don't work.

Buy fresh Garlic, put a hole through it and put it on a string, and tie it like a collar on your pets. This works very well, but you will need to treat the house for fleas.

Capstar is all you can use on pups that young. It is not cheap, but will help with the flea issues. You'll have to see the vet.
