yeah and all I wanted was for them to say hi or email me, and let me know that all was well.

Sometimes. I get this weird feeling that other people have access to the internet too.
It usually passes, as when I ask for an intelligent answer to an important question (on Yahoo answers for instance) ....
...just an eerie silence, or the incessant chatter of spambots....
