Mindfulness meditation. Sit in a comfortable, preferably symmetrical position, such as in an armchair. Close your eyes, take deep, slow breaths, and listen to your breath. Notice the sounds around you, the feelings (light breeze? the upholstery of the chair?) and any scents, but don't evaluate them, just notice them. Be very much in the moment. This is what you are when you are centered and at peace. Return to this whenever you need to.
If you need a visualization, make it of something that is always pleasant to you, such as a favorite park or cozy nook in grandma's attic, or wherever feels like refuge, safe, comfy.

Congratulations, you have chosen your career and now are suffering from panic and wondering if you have taken on too much. Give it a try and all the others will be just as nervous as you !! Try getting lots of rest, eat well and exercise so you can sleep. If it gets so bad, I would sincerely advise you to visit your doctor and explain, because maybe this is not the right job for you - you need nerves of steel in that job, but that is trained in to you - it just doesn't arrive pre-packed and ready with the kit.

Do some PT (physical training). Go for a run, get a workout. It'll help you calm down and help you prepare to be a cadet.
Good luck!

Take a deep breath and realize you can't control everything in your life... it's to late to control this.
Then take another deep breath and realize God (or whoever you believe in) has things under control.
Then take another deep breath and realize every experience will make you stronger.
Then take another deep breath and realize nothing is ever as bad as the dread of it.
Then take another really deep breath and let it out really slowly and while you're letting it out, let all of your nerves go with it, and go on with your day like you always would.

Practice doing pushups and situps, make sure that you can run at least two miles..
When you get there, do not speak unless someone speaks to you first.
So calm down, already. They will not make you do anything that is too hard for you.
