Everyone has to go to the bathroom after drinking lots of water and just because the cut turned black does not mean diabetes. Both my brother and father have diabetes and so does my husband. Ashley listed the most common symptoms of diabetes so if you have most of those symptoms you should see a doctor. Other than that just out neosporin on the cuts and let them heal. As far as having scaly skin, all skin looses moisture during the winter season, use some lotion to moisturize and don't worry so much.

We cannot determine if you have diabetes simply by those two things. First going to the washroom 1-2 hrs after drinking alot of water is normal for anyone, anything your body takes in it must let out. If you have a cut that is turning black you should tell your parents immediately. Thats nothing to mess around with.

You don't have to be overweight to have diabetes. There is type 1, which is juvenile diabetes, and type 2, which is usually due in part to being overweight BUT NOT ALWAYS! You have to go to the doctor ASAP! Don't wait till your vision is blurry, which will happen, or pass out and go into a coma because your blood sugar is so high. It's a simple as a prick on the finger to check your glucose levels. Non-diabetics blood sugar's don't move. Anything above 150 is bad. Even if it just means your borderline diabetic.

your so young , however i would get a exam checked out and see a doctor. Also i would check your family backround before you make and major moves. Dont get all worked up untill you get answers from your doctor, but keep you head up many people live very normal lives with this disorder. I have many friends that are happy and they have diabetes. So keep your head up .Good things happen to good people. So keep a positive mind.

Your best bet is to tell your parents your concerns and have them take you to the doctor.Being diabetic myself,I know it's nothing to play around with.A couple of things you stated( the
constant drinking and urination) can be signs of diabetes. But
that doesn't mean you have it. So get to the doctor, and find
out for sure.Better to be safe than sorry. And you don't have to be overweight to have diabetes either.

If you are drinking a whole lot of water you could be. does it run in your family? My mom is an RN and that is one of the tell tale signs she looks for in diabetes. But you should really have your sugar checked and see a Dr.
