Army...Air Force...Marine Corps...or Navy?

for an 18 yr old female.

This is the rank I have heard them...

1 Air Force
2 Navy
3 Marine Corps.
4 Army

and also with the LEAST chance to be deployed, or is it all the same chance?

The BEST is not relevant. What is relevant is what you want to DO in the service. Known as your MOS or Military Occupational Specialty.

Trying to pick out a branch of service with the intent of avoiding deployment is a HUGE mistake and miscalculation, usually told to you by non- military people and PARENTS who know nothing about the military.

It's all about MOS.

If you are worried about deployment and still want a check. Join the ARMY - Go to boot camp and AIT and then get into the national guard while attending college. You can pre-arrange a deal to guarantee that you will not be deployed outside the US as long as you are enrolled in college and passing at least 12 hrs per sem. But, in the National Guard you will still be obligated for disaster duty within your state of residence.
Hurricanes, tornados, floods, fires, border security etc. but only within your state.

When you graduate, you can finish out your military contract in inactive reserves and become a civilian again or (with your college degree) can become a commissioned officer.

Marines, Air Force, Navy, Army. Is the proper order. Flying planes might be fun but, it's very dangerous. They sometimes get taken down by their own. I believe they call it friendly fire. Marines are in or under water. Sounds the safest to me. They're not as visible to the enemy.

Navy gets deployed all the time but they sit at sea and we dont fight a whole lot of naval wars...... get the drift?

you want deploed ALL the time in the dirt ?

HOO YA Marines every day

define best?
air force and navy tend to eat the best

marines and army get the dirtiest jobs

wanna be the best of the best? then you have to be nacy or marine to get in to seal teams. army has rangers but you dont the wow factor as fast in civilian life

ps to all the "air force and fly planes" people... umm what percent of air men FLY? why Officers only of course.......

Air Force is the best, i believe that the Marine Corps get to see the first action; like real life combat.

You can't even rank the branches on which one's are the best. They each have their own traits that make the US have the best military in the world. But if I had to choose, I would say Marines because I am a Marine! They are all great and without each branch our military wouldn't be the best. On the deployment question, it really comes down to your mos in each branch. God Bless each and every one. Happy Veteran Day to all!!!!!!!

The Air Force is the closest to being a civilian as you can get in the Military.

If the chances of being deployed rank that high on your list of questions, the answer for you is probably "none."
And, don't forget the Coast Guard. They are over there, too.

Navy. Because you can still fly a plane and be in the Navy. I actually think it would be more fun that way, because you get to land planes on boats in the ocean. Happy Veteran's Day!

Go with the air force; better benefits, better pay, better education assistance, shorter deployments, and less risk for injury.
