No, you're not a vegetarian, but you're just a few steps below. Eat lots of beans, they're magical. Or not. But many kinds of beans do have lots of protein and iron. I'm a vegetarian, but I consider fish to be the healthiest meat.

No, you are not a vegetarian, there are only two types of vegetarians.
"A vegetarian is someone living on a diet of grains, pulses, nuts, seeds, vegetables and fruits with or without the use of dairy products and eggs. A vegetarian does not eat any meat, poultry, game, fish, shellfish or crustacea, or slaughter by-products.
Types of Vegetarian
-Lacto-ovo-vegetarian. Eats both dairy products and eggs. This is the most common type of vegetarian diet.
-Vegan. Does not eat dairy products, eggs, or any other animal product."(1)
While you are not vegetarian your diet is still better than most people these days. The elimination of red meat is one of the best things you can do for your health(however pork is considered red meat(2)).
As far as substituting, there is really no need to IMO. Red Meat contains almost the same amount of iron as other meat. If you are really concerned than you can incorporate lean/good quality red meats into your diet once or twice weekly. It is also said that taking in vitamin C while eating iron rich foods will help absorption, so a glass of orange juice will help you absorbe iron better(3).
I think your best bet would be to speak with a dietitian if you are really concerned about getting the right nutrients while pregnant. You may be able to work out a meal plan and put your mind at ease regarding your diet.

I'm just like you eat mostly chicken, not Pork, Rabbit, or any other, But Honestly No I'm Not Vegetarian, and Can tell you for sure that you're Not.
When people talk about diferent levels of being Veggie is because many eat eggs, other milk and other don't etc.
If you eat Any Dead animal you're NOT veggetarian, But you can eat something coming from animals like eggs or milk and still be Vegetarian.
The dark marks are not for that, to knw What you need to substitute is better talk to a doctor, Anemia could be deficiency of several or one kind of Vitamins or nutrients, so only a doctor can really tell if you have a deficience in some what Vegetables can substitute that, so eat more of it . The most common deficiency is Iron and for that the best are Beans and Oatmeal.

copy pasted from dictionary.com Vegetarian means eating nothing derived from an animal source. pork, chicken were once living, and are as much an animal as those which you get read meats from. you cant be "kind of" vegetarian. you either are or you arent. you seem to eat healthy so that is fine. since you are pregnant you probably know what kind of nutrients you need to be getting. by not eating red meat, you may be low on protein but you can get this from soymilk, tofu, or tempeh.

You're not even CLOSE to being a vegetarian. I've heard of some people think that they can be a vegetarian if they eat fish, but I have NEVER heard someone who eats pork actually ask if they can be considered veg.
Vegetarians do not--I repeat, NOT--eat the flesh of dead animals. Chickens, fish, and pigs (from whom pork comes) are ANIMALS. Vegetarians eat fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, and nuts. Ovo-lacto vegetarians may eat dairy and eggs. Vegans do not.
So, how to get more iron. There are many foods rich in iron that don't involve the death of an animal, but they are non-heme iron and not as readily absorbed. However, if you eat foods rich in vitamin C with your non-heme iron source, it increases absorption. Check the Vegetarian Resource Group (www.vrg.org) for more information. And dairy foods are completely lacking in iron.

I've never heard of a person that doesnt eat beef to be considered vegetarian.
A vegetarian is a person who DOES NOT eat any type of meat. Chicken, beef, pork, FISH, & SEAFOOD, is meat.
anything that is a flesh of an animal is meat.
(EVEN A FRYED COCKROACH IS MEAT)

No, that's not vegetarian. I've never heard of the idea that a non-beef eater can even be considered vegetarian.
If the only meat you eat is seafood then you're a pesco-vegetarian, but that's as far as the definition will bend for meat eaters.

i'm a vegetarian, and in my opinion, you're not. but like i said, that's my opinion. vegetarians don't eat meat at all. i don't know if the comment about your eyes is true though. i've been a vegetarian all my life and now that i think about it, i do have dark circles under my eyes... so that might be the truth. i hope i helped! :)

A vegetarian that eats pork and chicken?
Vegetarians do not eat animals.
Cows, fish, snails, shrimp and ants are all animals.
PORK IS RED MEAT. "The other white meat" was just a really lame advertising campaign that confused a lot of people. I don't know about you, but I've never seen a white ham. The only thing that's white about it are the chunks of fat.

NO you are not vegetarian. I don't mean that in a harsh or rude way just a factual one. Vegetarians do not eat animals. You are simply put a person that doesn't eat red meat.
