Dear brothers & sisters,

I have different views on:-

1. Music. I say, ok with limitations.

2. Hijab. I say encouraged, not compulsory.

3. Riba. I say Haram.

But lending money/currency is permitted, at higher Price /Real Value depending on the durations.

Example: Both parties agreed to lend/borrow a '2 year money' at price/value of USD110. On the day of agreement, The akad takes place and the lender give a currency/piece of paper that has a non-significant-printed-Nominal Value-of-USD100 to the borrower.

I say the transaction is NOT riba. It is HALAL.

I pay zakat, I pray, I respect others, do welfare & charity, put all my effort for the best of my family, relatives & the ummah.

Would I be cast into hellfire for those different views on interpretations & understanding of Quranic messages compared to your good selves & your respected imams?

The imams & today's so-callec Islamic bankers are obviously lack of understanding of the mechanisms of currencies/paper money, its supply & demand, volatility, factors affecting the value & all.

Currency/paper money is totally different than gold coins, copper, silver & other goods that used as trade medium during the prophets era.

The goods/gold coins carry intrinsic value with them, while currency notes do not carry any intrinsic value.

Unlike the goods/gold coins, the currency notes depreciates over time.

In currency, you have to clearly define what you really borrow or lent. If you agreed on the Nominal Value, then it will be Riba (Haram) if you seek higher returns.

Islam 4, 412envy & some of you,
Thanks for your advice.

Are we following the scholars or the Quran? God delegate His authority to the scholars you appointed?

Isn't the Quran urges you to find the answer in it & not blindly follow your leader who is appointed by your fellow human?

No wonder most of the times, most of us, Muslims are easily conned by many cult leaders.

Allah SWT gave you clear notations as to who was the best example for you long ago. If you decide that you are not harming yourself, anyone else and or the process of truth, well then what you have decided is to run on a choice. The electrical digital devices did not exist round the prophet SAW and that is something we have they didn't have, proper logic as to what is going in your ears as to the same as to what is going in your head and or soul.

Riba or interest is not halal or haram thing, its about where your money is coming from and where it goes, and if your going to pay humans interest then you better be prepared to pay interest with your life to Allah. What is your intention in all these things that is the key.

Is your intention to harm others, then your screwed. Is your intention for sheer entertainment and to loose your time when you could be doing so much more learning and understanding of your deen and those who brought it to you then that is your choice again.

No brother is better than any other brother, other than knowledge so you can choose to have an ignorant life and do what you feel, or you can follow the limits set forth unto you. If you listen to any Imam today that doesn't go back to the Teachings of Muhammed SAW and his family then your more lost than a Jesus thumper!
Peace is established through good will and patience. It has nothing to do with you personally its all of us as a group. What you decide to wear on your head or feet that is your choice and that goes to what you decide to go in and or out of your body and soul. That again is a blessing and granted choice individually between you and the Lord, and no ignorance is not an escuse so learn your deen and keep reading until your eyeballs fall out. You have decided to take modern liberal views over your deen that is your choice, but prepair to suffer whatever punishment that comes with those concequences as we where told but the rule and the happenings of going with the rule and going against the rule.

That is your choice, and that is your choice to be doing what you please on this earth. If anyone else tells you what you can and cannot do today, they better help you put on your underwear too then!

The day I listen to any man today is the day I will lay down and allow myself to be killed. Those of the past truth are long gone and I have yet to see anyone that is pios like them, we have lost them and their values long ago.

I cant say you will be in hell, when I dont know where I will end up. That only Allaah knows.

I believe that according to the Qur'aan and sunnah music is haraam. and that the hijab is compulsory. and that Ribaa is of course haraam like you said.

even if there is any doubt in your mind, you should always keep this hadith in your head:

Leave that about which you are in doubt for that about which you are in no doubt.

The Prophet, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, elaborated further by saying: “Verily, truth is tranquillity and falsehood is doubt.” This means that the truth will lead to tranquillity and falsehood will lead to doubt.

Allah says (in meaning)
[33:36] "It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path."

Allah says:
[18:27-29]
"And recite that which hath been revealed unto thee of the Scripture of thy Lord. There is none who can change His words, and thou wilt find no refuge beside Him. (27) Restrain thyself along with those who cry unto their Lord at morn and evening, seeking His Countenance; and let not thine eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp of the life of the world; and obey not him whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, who followeth his own self and whose case hath been abandoned. (28) Say: (It is) the truth from the Lord of you (all). Then whosoever will, let him believe, and whosoever will, let him disbelieve. Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers Fire. Its tent encloseth them. If they ask for showers, they will be showered with water like to molten lead which burneth the faces. Calamitous the drink and ill the resting-place! (29) " ... concentrate on "... who followeth his own self...".
Islam is set of rules, not set of opinions and visions. These rules have been clarified, explained, and tought by the prophet Muhammad PBUH. Whosoever reject what Muhammad the prophet PBUH came with and order is rejecting Islam and is not a Muslim, even if he/she says Shahaadah day and night. For example, saying the Salah (prayer is not a must) is Kufr according to ALL scholars. Same applies to hijab since it's stated clearly in Qur'an, according to scholars of Qur'an, not individual Muslims.

Scholars are those who have been taught and learned the rules of Islam according to the teachings of the prophet Muhammad and the orders of Allah SWT. Any person is allowed to ask scholars until he/she knows (notice "knows" not "feels", judgment is in the mind, not heart and feelings) the imam is basing his judgment on the rules and according to what pleases Allah. No one, no matter how much he/she reads, is considered a scholar unless he/she is approved my another scholar. Whoseever gives "fatwa" or "opinionj" without absolute knowledge in Qur'an, Hadeeth, Arabic language, and rules of Fiqh is misguided and needs to stop speak without knowledge, and should fear Allah and the day of judgment when we stand infront of Allah and answer for the little and the less, the major and the more. We hold the book of our deeds and read, it's enough to judge yourself that day.

May Allah guide us and forgive all the Muslims, the dead and alive.

i dont think youre allowed to pick and choose what you like and dislike. Scholars have dedicated their lives to studying islam and they all agree on certain things (like hijab being cumpulsory).
