I agree, you are making such a good point! It feels almost useless to buy a single hybrid can and fit a house with solar, when the rest of the world is still polluting like there is no tomorrow- ironically this is the situation at hand.

I have thought about this alot and i guess i came up with the most encouraging thought possible with out giving in totally.

' every one makes up a million'
i guess i thought if i keep doing my bit then its only a matter of time till others around me follow and once their is enough people out there caring, then the government will stand up and take the idea on board trying once again to be 'good' leaders.

I recently learned about used cooking oil preservation or how to re-use used cooking oil by using Diatomite. The process is similar to purifying water. I was amazed by the results of the process because we ended up not only using the cooking again but it was as clear as any new cooking oil and even the smell was better. We had it tested and found that it was indeed pure enough to use again. Can you imagine how many homes would benefit from this process?

Second, if you have never heard of soapberry trees then you are far behind. Soapberry nuts contain ingredients that not only help clean and disinfect but heals as well. It is widely used in China and Japan as an alternative to laundry detergents. We are now beginning to use soapberry detergents here and honestly...it is so much better than commercial brands - you hep clean the environment too!
