Sounds to me like he needs a cardiac work up along with some blood sugar monitoring. From what you have described, and I would need more info, sounds like he had the classic symptoms of an MI. Has he had a stress test at all or even a cardiac cath? These two tests could find the root of your problem.
Get him to the doc.

He could be experiencing problems with blood pressure (Is his blood pressure controlled on his BP medicine? Does he check it regularly?)

It is possible that he could have another condition such as ischemic heart disease or cardiac arrhythmia. The symptoms of arrhythmia include palpitations, dizziness, fainting spells, fatigue, shortness of breath and chest pain. Nausea and excessive sweating are both symptoms of certain types of heart disease, which smoking can certainly contribute to.

He should see a primary care physician, and possibly a cardiologist to assess for these types of disease.

Good luck!

He had a second heart attack. At the rate he's going, and that he is not seeking medical care, you will be a widow soon.

If you want him around, get him to a cardiologist, STAT. Next time call 911. That's your job.

By the way, it's NAUSEOUS.
