I have an area that is red and sore in the *lips* of my vagina.
I lost my virginity and he used a condom and it caused a yeast infection. I was treated for the yeast infection and now the sore area is red and painful. This morning I took a qtip with alcohol and put some on the area.
It burned and had blood on it.
I am on my period right now and I have been tested for any diseases and they all came back negative.
What could be wrong...? It could also be because of the frequent shaving I do.

The sore has hair growing out of it too, so can it be due to irriation?

Try using Vicks Vapor Rub. It takes the soreness right out.
Think about it.

Sounds like local irritation. If so, putting alcohol on it will make it worse.
The yeast infection makes the area very sensitive. Then when you get your menses..it makes it sensitive again.
Treat the area "gently". Wash with mild soaps and cool water. Sometimes vaseline, A&D oinment can help if the open area isnt too close to the opening of the vagina.
Give the area a rest from sexual activity until the area is back to normal. Contact with spermicidals from the condoms will make it worse.

It could be a multitude of things. An ingrown hair, a bad pimple, an infected cut from your razor, or maybe even an STD. But putting alcohol on it will only irritate it. When I shave, I usually get one really bad pimple, popping it isn't the best solution.
I suggest going to see a doctor, just to be sure.

It might be part of your hymen that didn't break all the way, or perhaps he pulled out a few hairs when he entered you. If you're shaving, then maybe you nicked yourself with the razor? Maybe it's an ingrown that has gotten infected?
If you don't know what it is, go back to the doctor and get them to look at it again.

Yeast infections usually itch on the lips and the inside very intensely. If its the clit that hurts than yes, sex is likely the culprit. Being itchy could just be because its summer time especially if the itching is isolated to night time. If she is worried and it does not go away in a couple of days have her see her physician.

Ingrown hair? Maybe your mate is sleeping around and introducing alien bacteria? Another yeast infection.

OMG. . .Never. . . ever. . . put alcohol near your vagina. No wonder it's burning and turned red! You should go see a doctor because you are definitely irritated in that area.

Might be an inflammed pore (possibly from an ingrown hair). Did you shave?

It is possible that it is an ingrown hair, but see your doctor, b/c some std's may need a culture.
