Depends...if it's authentic Mexican food then yes. I suppose if you're from someplace other than the US, Canada or Mexico then it might be considered exotic as well.

Totally. its spicy and always delicious with many different flavors dancing on your tongue. Ingredients are fresh and healthy. Its fabulously exotic as long as you don't count Taco Bell as mexican food!

Like with most cuisines there is always something exotic to be found do you want different or fancy? When I lived in Mexico my ex introduced me to crickets cooked in tacos. A different ex brought me to the Yucatan where the foods were really fancy at the welcome home fiesta. Maybe fancy suggests the reason for eating, we don't eat turkey and all the fixings everyday. I'm sure that in Mexico it is the same.

If you eat at a Mexican household or in Mexico itself then you'll run into things that arent tacos, quesadillas, pico de gallo etc, if all you've eaten is restaurants in the U.S and places like Taco Bell then thats not real mexican food. Kinda how chinese restaurants are not real chinese food.

The spice cumin is great and used a lot in Mexican cooking as well as cilantro. They are exotic, I guess.

Well, when I was in California I had some abalone soup that was right to die for. Mexican food -- real Mexican food -- is GREAT.

That relies upon on what you planned to be "unique". Italian foodstuff is made with specific factors like olive oil, tomatoes, garlic, italian cheese, and so on. on account that's what for sure happens there. that would make it unique to different areas of the worldwide.
