It is PATENT. I don't know if you can patent a recipe but you have to apply for a patent through a government patent office. The process is very long and will probably cost you about $10,000. Search for it on the internet and I'm sure you can find out where and how to apply for the area that you live in. Good luck :)

Patents apply to inventions; i.e. something totally new;
that usually means a device or a process.
What you want is probably just a copyright, for your recipe.
Here it's very difficult to prove originality.
It's only worthwhile if you're prepared to sue for protection.
The simplest way is to send yourself a copy registered mail.
That way you'll have proof, if you ever have to go to court.
Otherwise just keep your recipe to yourself, & don't publish.

the government...call the government...or go to he pattent store...lol...you might not be able to patent a recipie!!!
