MZJakes forgets that as the adoptive father, the son does have all the rights as a heir.

But then, again, what good is a priest when there is no Temple to serve. It isn't as if those following the Talmud having been celebrating their return Israel without building a Temple. As Ezra and Nehemiah demonstrate, real Torah following Jews feel the need for sacrifices to cover their sins. The priests never sat down because there was always a sacrifice needing to be made.

But even if the Temple would be built, who could serve as a Levitical Priest? There is no Talmud follower that can trace their lineage to the time before the destruction of the 2nd Temple so who could serve in the 3rd?

And if having a Temple is no big deal and the atonement for sin isn't either, then why not eat lamb instead of an egg at Passover?

But Jesus' priesthood isn't linked the Levitical Priesthood. He was a priest in the line of Melchizedek. Since Melchizedek blessed Abraham and Abraham paid him a tithe, Melchizedek's priesthood is greater than Levi's. And unlike the Levitical priest, Y'shua sat down because through His blood the atonement for sins were made complete.

Psalm 110

A Psalm of David.
1(A)The LORD says to my Lord:
"(B)Sit at My right hand
Until I make (C)Your enemies a footstool for Your feet."
2The LORD will stretch forth Your strong (D)scepter from Zion, saying,
"(E)Rule in the midst of Your enemies."
3Your (F)people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power;
(G)In holy array, from the womb of the dawn,
Your youth are to You as the (H)dew.
4(I)The LORD has sworn and will (J)not change His mind,
"You are a (K)priest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek."
5The Lord is (L)at Your right hand;
He will (M)shatter kings in the (N)day of His wrath.
6He will (O)judge among the nations,
He will fill them with (P)corpses,
He will (Q)shatter the chief men over a broad country.
7He will (R)drink from the brook by the wayside;
Therefore He will (S)lift up His head.

The claim about a high priest having to be linked to Aaron is invalidated by king David himself. And the Talmud observant don't have a means to make sacrifices for sins so their sin remains or the law that condemns them of sin has been made invalid. Will a Talmud observant Jew please show us who made G-d's Law invalid so the whole earth can claim to be without sin too?

What writer of the Talmud claimed to speak for G-d so that sin and the sacrifices for sins are no longer needed? Please do tell us as you would demand no less from us.

If we don't learn the e book of Leviticus we can't in any respect comprehend what's written in the e book of Hebrews. and how the sacrifice of Jesus fulfilled the different demands of the regulation of the previous testomony---Jesus lived below previous testomony and had to fulfill it to be a captivating sacrifice to God for us. because of utilising analyzing Leviticus we can comprehend why a sparkling covenant became mandatory to get rid of the previous. we are able to comprehend the different requirement of the regulation and the middle of God.

Not extensively. Only enough to be able to distinguish the Levitical Priesthood from the Aaronic Priesthood.
I do agree that Christ isn't just twiddling His thumbs waiting for the Second Coming.

Jesus said, I go to prepare a place for you, thats one thing, another is that Jesus is our mediator between us and God the Father. He answers our Prayers, He sends his angels to protect us, he has a full time job. Someday he's coming back to get us, Praise the Lord, come quickly Lord Jesus come quickly.

Jesus, who had no paternal lineage despite attempts to link him to King David, was certainly not a male-line descendent of Aaron and therefore cannot be the High Priest of ANYTHING!!!
