There are a billion recipes out there so instead I'll share a super-quick and easy idea I picked up from Trader Joe's last night:
2 jars of bruschetta
1 can sliced olives
1 can or jar of artichoke hearts
1 bag spiral pasta (try brown rice pasta - good for you and yummy!)
All you do is boil the pasta (don't overcook), rinse with cool water, and mix everything together. It was delicious.

If you have a Trader Joe's around you'll know EXACTLY what I mean if you get the ingredients I tasted, but if you don't, I'm sure it'll taste just as good with other brands. Experiment!

I also make quick pasta sauce all the time using a few roma tomatoes, some basil (fresh if you've got it), some garlic, a little bit of chili pepper, salt, and sometimes some red pepper (other times I leave it out). I just blend it up in a blender till it gets warm (not hot) and then toss it with hot pasta (the sauce will still contain a lot of healthy enzymes because you didn't cook them away).

I don't know if those tips are exciting enough for all that punctuation you got there, but they're mighty tasty.

P.S.
Oh, I just remembered about the pasta from Johnny Carrino's...boil and drain spaghetti noodles (again, go for brown rice pasta - it's got no gluten so it's easier to digest and not as bad of a carb!) then toss with the following that you've warmed in a pan:
olive oil, fresh basil, artichoke hearts, chopped tomatoes, a pinch of salt

pasta and tomato sauce I really didn't know there was anything but vegetarian pasta . if you are health conscious you might use whole grain pasta . it has directions on the bag . like salted boiling water put in the pasta cook for 8 to 12 minutes or till al dente or as you like . then might cut some long tomatos squeeze out the seeds cut and core and sprinkle with juice from one lemon . mix with pasta and voila!

3 quarts water
1 tablespoon kosher salt
16 ounces dried spaghetti noodles
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 to 3 cloves of garlic, minced fine
Optional Toppings:
Capers
Sun dried tomatoes
Red pepper
Olives
Walnuts
Hard cheeses like Asiago and Parmesan
Soft or veined cheeses like gorgonzola or chevre
Canned Artichokes
Smoked oysters
Black pepper

Place water in large lidded pot, add salt and bring to a rolling boil. Add spaghetti, fanning it into the water so that each strand makes contact. Using a wooden spoon or tongs, gently bend noodles to submerge. Cover pot and return to a rolling boil, reducing heat to medium-high. Stir occasionally.
Pour 3 tablespoons of good quality extra virgin olive oil into the bottom of a wide serving bowl along with garlic.

In 4 minutes, start tasting. When done, a string of spaghetti should be springy when pulled on. To the tooth, there should be some resistance but not so much that the pasta sticks in the teeth. As soon as pasta is done, drain immediately in a large colander (lidded models are the best). Shake pasta to stop cooking but don't shake dry. And no rinsing!

Add pasta to serving bowl and toss to coat. Quickly divide into individual bowls and toss

p.s. you are cute.

All the answers so far suggest buying pasta. I would recommend you buy 0000 flour and try making your own, you can make parcels and use your own fillings of cheeses, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers ( all chopped finely or put threw a blender ) or whatever floats your boat.

home made pasta is much nicer than shop bought stuff.

......and its really easy to make, most 0000 flour bags have the method on them.

After you've made your own, you will realise the shop stuff is completely tasteless.

Buy a package of pasta and a bottle of sauce, both of which are available at any grocery store. Follow the directions on the package.

This is one of the simplest meals for non-cooks.

Look up "Pasta Primavera" on "allrecipes.com" or "recipes.com". Its a great veggie meal, with pasta, like linguine, and it has all these great veggies mixed in with the pasta. Definitely worth checking out.

Ok, vegetarian pasta. To make vegetarian pasta, firstly, you slice your vegetarians very thinly...
