i currently use ventolin, but is there surgery, alternative medicines, homeopathic, anything really. i'd be greatful for any advice or input. thanks

There is one trick that i learned, its that you arch your back and put your hands behind your head and interlock your finger. it opens up a pathway in your lungs and it always works for me.

I feel your pain. I've had asthma for 14 years now and have seen several doctors. The truth is, there is no known cure for asthma at the moment. But the symptoms can be prevented. It really depends on what causes your brother's asthma. Mine is usually dust and hot weather. But I think the universal method is using the control inhaler.

My son is on a maintence drug, a steroidal powder that he inhales. For mild asthma, a cup of coffee really helps.
