A lot of people think it's a "female disease" and that is NOT true.
Both men and women can be directly affected by HPV. The main concern with HPV is the cervical cancer it can cause for women, but HPV is also responsible for warts (including genital warts) and certain rare cancers like penile and anal cancer.
A LOT of people have HPV and are just unaware of it because they don't show any signs or symptoms of the virus. Many people end up spreading the virus to others through sex unknowingly. And, since there is no test for men to detect HPV, it's basically impossible for a man to know if he has the virus or not. Most men find out the have the virus from developing genital warts from it, but not everyone with HPV develops genital warts from their HPV. So, men can often go years or even a lifetime without realizing they have HPV.

Take care!

Yes you should get checked out. HPV IS AN STD.... That means it is sexually transmitted. It doesn't just show up in the female it has to have contact with someone who is a carrier or has an outbreak....
Do yourself a favor and go to the doctor and stop having unprotected sex.

yes, it is not a male or female disease, it just affects differently. it is also called genital warts. Because you have been exposed, i recommend taking 3 neem capsules, 2 turmeric, and 3 milk thistle capsules per day for a month. If any warts do appear on your genitals, put neem oil and turmeric paste on them one week, and tincture of arbor vitae the next, alternating weeks until all are gone. good luck.

Go to the Doctor and get a prescription to get rid of it. If women get HPV and it goes undetected they can become sterile.
