There is no law and it's no ones "job" to tell someone they have a STD. Of course, it is the RIGHT thing to do, but it's no ones "job".

And, no, you can NOT sue anyone for giving you a STD. If a person WILLING has sex with someone who has a STD, then they are just as much to blame for contracting the STD as the person they had sex with. It takes two people to have sex! This is why it is SO important to know your STD status as well as your partners before you jump into bed with them!

If you contract a STD from someone the best thing to do is MOVE ON. You can be mad at them and hate them all you want to, but that's not going to change the fact they you have a STD.

Good luck!

Sorry but most everyone is right, you cant sue some one for giving you an STD.

On the other hand if the STD was HIV, then you could get them introuble for , "impersonal harm"

You had consensual sex with this partner..no rape..if it was rape did you report it was a rape report made…were you examined??

Some states may allow you to sue this guy...under civil laws...this will be difficult almost impossible to do...can this guy bring forth people that you have had sex with in the past...do you want your life discussed in a court room and remember court records are often available to the public ...

If you go this route I hope that you are very wealthy....

No, because you have no proof to sue against them, even if they admitted it to you. + you could of avoided the risk of getting an std by using a condom.
