Every other year when we're not with family - we go to see two or three movies on Thanksgiving. We don't fix anything - but we have popcorn and red vines for Thanksgiving dinner. Love it! (and it IS vegetarian)

Cajun style Tofurky, stuffing, corn, cornbread, mashed yukon potatos, green bean cassarole with cream of broccoli soup (friend is allergic to mushrooms), pumpkin pie from scratch, apple pie from scratch, orange cranberry sauce, and a real Turkey for my boyfriend and non-vegetarian friends.

I just got a sample today at Trader Joe's of this delicious pasta that only used two jars of bruschetta, one can of artichoke hearts, a can of black olives, and a bag of veggie pasta (all right there at TJ's - they have the little display set up so you can grab the ingredients). It was really good. I'm going to take that to my grandma's for the family to enjoy. I'm also bringing roasted potatoes, my famous coconut, pecan sweet potatoes, and probably a bundt vegan spice cake with a toffee glaze. Yummm!

Lots of salad greens with interesting garnishings. Like sliced and diced fruits to top the salad. And bread with dips - - cheeses, anchovies, tomatoes.
My vegan friends are excited! And can't believe there is no tofu!

they'll get what they're given and be grateful for it. none of this fussy 'I can't eat that because blah blah'. If you're a vegetarian you shouldn't celebrate thanksgiving because it's against the ethical ideals that you've decided to define yourself by.
