Genital herpes symptoms can vary greatly from person to person. Most people never have any symptoms or ones that are so mild they may not recognize them, although some people develop painful and bothersome symptoms.
First-time (primary) outbreak

The primary outbreak of genital herpes tends to last longer and be more severe than subsequent (recurrent) outbreaks. Symptoms of a primary outbreak may include:

* Flulike symptoms, such as fever, headache, and muscle aches. These symptoms usually get better within a week.
* Tingling, burning, itching, and redness at the site where an outbreak is about to occur (prodrome).
* Painful, itchy blisters on the penis, on the vulva, or inside the vagina. Blisters may also appear on the anus, buttocks, thighs, or scrotum, either alone or in clusters. They may be barely noticeable or as large as a coin.
* Blisters that break and become shallow, painful, oozing sores.
* Swollen and tender lymph nodes in the groin.
* Painful urination.
* Abnormal vaginal or urethral discharge.

Occasionally a person will experience symptoms months or even years after being infected, making it very difficult to identify the sex partner who was the source of the infection.

When it comes to Herpes you should start to show symptoms in around 3 weeks to 3months.

But sometimes there will be no symptoms for up to a few years.

When there are symptoms it could start as a little flaking or small bumps to big pimple like soars on the infected area.

Herpes is characterized by raised fluid filled vesicles. Usually clay or skin color and in clusters. The cluster formation is the tell-tale sign

They are produced by the herpes simplex virus. Once infected, it remains in the body and will appear when the body is stressed (not sleeping, not eating right, person is ill, etc.)

The vesicles burst with time, crust over and dry and heal on its own in about a week to 10 days.

The cdc website has a lot of good information and pictures.
If you think youve been infected or want more info on STDs you can visit your local Planned Parenthood. They can give you info and low cost medical care.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 3 yrs ago, whilst I was still attending college and had a mindless one-night stand. I understand loads of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/x5pwR everything improved.

Not only was I able to remove all remnants of the hsv from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This program gave me back the chance to be happy and experience real love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

When I got my first outbreak I developed blisters in my genital area. They broke open and oozed fluid and you have no idea how painful it is to have open sores on such a sensitive area. I could barely walk for 3 weeks because everytime I walked the open sores would rub together.Valtrex cleared it up and I can feel when an outbreak is coming on because the lower part of my back starts to tingle. If I take the Valtrex soon enough, it stops another outbreak. Once you have Herpes, you have it for life. Its the gift that keeps on giving.
