The sticky dark stuff won't come off after I make crostinis or roast veggies...I've tried everything..help!

Believe it or not - and this is hard for me too, because I love a clean pan - the darker the sheet pan, the better, and more evenly, it cooks! Just scrape what loose stuff you can off and leave the rest. Try to stop making yourself crazy and enjoy your well used pan!

For the food you mention, I would use foil on the pan. If I roast meat, I soak the pan right away with warm water and mild soap.

have you tried barkeeper's friend or a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser?

I agree with the poster that said they cook better after the residue bakes onto it. It's like a cast iron skillet.

Try an SOS pad; baking soda might do the trick too.

try lining the sheet with foil first.
