I think there is a good chance you have type 1 diabetes. the weight loss is very common before hospital admission becomes necessary.
as others have said there may be other problems but either way - you NEED to go and see a doctor as soon as possible. please.

If you even suspect it, get to the doctor. When I was diagnosed, I found out when my father told my mom to get him some candy because he was getting the "fuzzies," and pointed to his eyes. I asked if it felt like he was getting tunnel vision, and he said yes. I made an appointmen that very afternoon, and went through the tests the next day. Sure enough. Shaking, and rapid weight loss are common symptoms, along with being thirsty all the time and going to the bathroom a lot. If I get out of bed at night and get the least bit cold, my body shakes hard for several minutes, to the point that my hands hurt. I have very cold hands and feet, too, no matter what the weather is like. You are also more prone to infections, too, so the burning when you go to the bathroom may be a yeast infection.

I am type 2 diabetic. When I found out that I was diabetic I was always thirsty I would drink gallons of water and pee it all right out. I also was eating lot and still was very hungry. I dropped a lot of weight to out of no where. One of the things that made me go to the doctor were stomach pains almost like period cramps that had to do with my pee. I recommend going to the doc to have them check your sugar level or have one of your family members prick your finger to see your sugar level just be sure to not drink or eat something with a lot of sugar before you do it.. I hope your not but please take care of it right away.

The only one who could tell you for sure is your doctor. make an appointment and tell him all of your symptoms. the people on yahoo dont know the extent of your situation, so even though they might not be wrong, you still want to get a professional opinion.

hope i helped =]

No but it looks like you have a urinary tract infection or a bladder infection. You need to go see your pediatrician ASAP. If left untreated you could become septic and end up very sick in the hospital.

I'd just see your md and get a blood test. They can test it in a minute. You should get to your MD soon though. The earlier you catch it, the more likely you are to live a productive and healthy life.
