I recently visited the cardiologist and did an EKG and a ECG; the doctor said that my heart is still the same, weaker than normal and a fast heart rate, however my blood pressure is fine. I also have high red blood cell count. I went to take a blood test and a 24 urine test yesterday as requested by the cardiologist.

The 24 hour urine test is examining your kidney function, maybe the cardiologist sees something there. Anyway the doctor will give you the appropriate medication for your heart. Ask him if exercise would help. I know a fitness trainer that works with people with fast heart rates and heart conditions. Your doctor will tell you which exercises, if any, are helpful. Be sure to tell your trainer about your health condition and your doctor's recommendation.

Why are you asking us and not your cardiologist?

We don't know the results of your ECG (which is in fact the same as an EKG).

There are a number of other tests that your cardiologist might have ordered or may be wanting shortly.

Depending on the ability of your heart to supply blood, you might be able to improve your condition with a simple graded exercise program. I think this is most likely, but we don't have all the information necessary to guide you about this.

It might be necessary for you to have medications or even various devices implanted. This is unlikely and I'm sure if you needed this, your Cardiologist would be talking with you about it. Ultimately if your heart is terribly weak (I don't think this is the case) then you might require a heart transplant.
