You can't contract AIDS - period.

People don't contract AIDS - they contract HIV, which in most cases usually develops into AIDS.

People can contract HIV through 3 main transmission routes. They include:

1. Sexual route. Sexual transmission can occur when infected sexual secretions of one partner come into contact with the genital, oral, or rectal mucous membranes of another.

2. Blood or blood product route. This transmission route can account for infections in intravenous drug users, hemophiliacs and recipients of blood transfusions (though most transfusions are checked for HIV in the developed world) and blood products.

3. Mother-to-child transmission (MTCT). The transmission of the virus from the mother to the child can occur in utero during the last weeks of pregnancy and at childbirth.

Also, HIV/AIDS doesn't just "appear". You have to become infected with HIV from any of the 3 main routes in order to have the virus.

Take care!

No. It is caused by a virus. You have to get it from someone or something that already has the virus.
Most common is gay sex. Then sharing drug needles. Other ways are from a mother to a baby at childbirth, through breast feeding, or any other way where one person's blood comes into contact with open sores or cuts on you.
It cannot happen spontaneously.

i don't think u can get it spontaniously u can get it through sexual contact with someone who has aids if the person is bleeding or has a cut somewhere, sharing needles with drugs, and blood transfusions if the blood is dirty.
