We don't eat vegetables only. We eat fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains and legumes and all the wonderful foods made from them, seasoned with herbs and spices. We cut out the meat for various reasons... some of us because it's healthy, some of us because we care for animals too much to contribute to their deaths, some of us because it's more environmentally sound, some of us because our faith dictates it, and probably as many other reasons as there are vegetarians.

Oh my goodness, there are soooo many questions just like yours asked. We don't eat just vegetables, look here::

vegetables, fruits, meat substitutes, dairy/eggs (if not vegan), pastas, grains, junk food.

yup, our diet is just the same as yours..only without meat.

hope this answers your question.

TO DULCE MARIA IF Y OU'RE READING THIS:: Oh, just because it's different/healthier than your diet, it's weird? get out of our section if all you're goint to do is try to degrade us. Offense taken.

I believe that vegetarians do not eat meat because then they would be like animals. Heaven only knows that all meat-eating animals go to hell.

No, seriously, it is because it is a vegetarian's definition of being humane/human. We should rise above the natural order of Mother Nature... hmm, we are better than Mother Nature?

Sorry, I can't properly answer the question.
