There is no such thing as full blown AIDS. You are either HIV+, or have AIDS. AIDS begins when a person with HIV infection has a CD4 cell count below 200. This will either increase or decrease depending on how well you take care of you Medical health and diet. Once you have AIDS, and you CD4 cell count happens to increase in future, you will still be considered to have AIDS.
Hope this helps!

The vast majority go from being HIV+ to having AIDS within 5 years. Some take longer, some shorter. There are one or two prostituts in Africa noted to be HIV+ for over 25 years now and have never converted to AIDS, but they are an anomoly.

IF the baby replaced into born HIV helpful (that doesn't continuously take place, there have been cases the place a non-contaminated baby has been borne of an contaminated mom), the quicker medicine scientific care is began, the greater ideal (with the triple cocktail). If a baby who's helpful is taken care of effectively, that baby ought to pass years previously coming up AIDS. there is not any thank you to respond to your question. there is purely no answer. AIDS does not have a timeframe. whilst a baby is born HIV helpful, that's a wait and see game. that's all which may be accomplished. EMT

Barring some accidental death, or other disease, all of them do eventually. I had a friend who had HIV for fourteen years before he got sick.
The risk is out there. I advise ALL to practice safe sex and do not share needles. This is permanent.

I don't know that answer on how many people actually convert to full blown AIDS, but the CDC website will have the answer to EXACT # and sex and nationality.
Good luck.

all of them. it can take a year, it can take 30 years or more. it's not HIV/AIDS that kills you, it's the impact of a weakened immune system. a common cold can kill you.
