I have an idea it is called Carmel Apple- Pudding Cake.(New Cook Book, Better Homes and garden)
What makes it into a "camp Cake" is you use old soup cans. Take off the outside label. I was thinking you could make pink camoflause for the outside of the cans. My family use to do this with all sorts of cakes and muffins when we went on a hike. I also saw it on Rachel Ray. You could use any cake but this is one of my favorites.
Ingredience:
2cups of thinly sliced tart apple
3tablespoons of lemon juice
1/2teaspoon of cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg
1cup of all purpose flour
1cup raisens or craisen (optional)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2cup milk
1/2 cup walnuts or pecans (optional
3/4cup carmel icecream topping
1/2cup water
3tablespoon of butter or margerine
Vanilla icecream (optional)
2 teaspoons of vanilla
Grease inside of soup cans with pam. Arrange apples at the bottom of each can sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Add raisens.
In a large bowl combine flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and baking powder. Add milk, two table spoons of melted butter and vanilla. Mix well and add nuts. Pour about 3/4 up the can.
In a small sauce pan combine the carmel sauce, water, and 1 tablespoon of butter. Bring to a boil then pour equal amounts into each can.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or stick a tooth pick through it's ready if the tooth pick come out clean. Top each can with vanilla icecream.

German chocolate cake mix - bake it as the package instructs. When it comes out of the oven, poke the top with a fork all over to make lots of little holes. Pour a bottle or jar of caramel sundae topping over the top of the cake, letting it soak into the holes. when it's cool, frost it with a container of Cool Whip, slightly thawed. Crush 2 Heath Bars by putting them in a sandwich bag and rolling them with a rolling pin, or some other form of crushing. Sprinkle the candy bar bits over the top of the cool whip. This could look like a gravel road or hiking trail, with the crushed candy bars on top.

I know this sounds CRAZY but the easiest cake in the world is a soda pop cake. All you need is one box of cake mix and a can of soda. Mix thoroughly and pour into a microwave safe container. Micowave for 9 minutes. It is absolutely delicious. I always do chocolate cake mix and coke zero, but you can try other mixes with different types of sodas.
You can google soda pop cake and you will see other variations.
