Mushroom Gravy, Kelp Gravy, Pure Tomato Sauce, I never thought of making Pumpkin dumplings but I've made other stuff with pumpkin such as fake meat!

Are they intended to be savory or sweet?
If they're for dessert, almost anything could work, but I'd probably vote for an apple-based caramel sauce (with lots of autumny spices).
If you're looking for something savory, I'd probably try a red wine demi-glaze with sage & rosemary.
Can I come for dinner?

it depends if they are sweet or not, you know like apple-dumplings.
You could use applesauce mixed with a little brown sugar
